Film Screenings and Workshop at Nippon Connection in Frankfurt

Student works from the Department of Film Production and Department of Animation were screened at Nippon Connection, the world’s largest Japanese film festival held in Frankfurt, May 23-28. The festival invited Department of Film Production graduate Rina Tanaka and Department of Animation professor Taruto Fuyama, who also held a workshop. In commemoration of the sister city relationship between Yokohama and Frankfurt, they paid a courtesy call to the Deputy Mayor of Frankfurt at the Kaisersaal (“Emperor Room”) in Frankfurt’s old town hall.
